Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughter, was already a huge fan of The Lion King before she even saw the reboot that features her mother this week!

Donald Glover, who plays Simba in the film and Seth Rogen (Pumbaa) told Entertainment Tonight the seven-year-old knew the movie so well that she was narrating it throughout the entire screening. At one point, she even explained to Donald's two-year-old son Legend what was going on.

"Like [Legend] was so done, but he met, like well, she was behind us," Donald told the program. "So, like… Blue was, like, narrating the movie. Blue was like, 'Scar, like, he's lying.' And my son was like, 'What? Who is that?'

"She knew the movie already. It was awesome."

Seth confirmed this was the case, and added another amusing anecdote – Blue thought the animals in the movie were actually speaking!

"She was [narrating]," he said. "I heard her the whole time. And then, very early in the movie I heard her just go, 'Are they talking?' I think she thought they were real animals… She thought it was real. 'Oh, my God, they got these animals to talk!' Disney is a powerful company."

Beyoncé plays Nala in the 2019 version of the film, which opens in North American theatres on July 19. Queen Bey and her daughter stunned fans earlier this week, when they stepped out to the premiere wearing matching outfits. Beyoncé was clad in a crystal Alexander McQueen dress.

Queen Bey will be greeted by real life royals on Sunday (July 14), when she attends the European premiere of the film at London's Leicester Square, along with the rest of the cast. Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry will be on hand for the red carpet event, since the European premiere will be held "in support of the conservation and communities work of His Royal Highness through The Royal Foundation," according to the Telegraph. Disney will also pledge US$1.5 million to the Lion Recovery Fund in connection with the film, the publication reports.

Conservation and a love of the environment are things that are very close to Harry's heart, and he shares that passion with Meghan. The duke is a patron of African Parks, and there's a good chance it will be included in his new charitable foundation with Meghan when it launches next year. So it makes sense the duchess would make her first red carpet appearance as a royal to support this important cause!

Maybe Meghan and Harry will even get to meet Blue!
